  • Job Location: UKO Moorgate London (Hybrid between home and office)

  • Salary: £40,134 to 42,067 per annum based on 35 hours per week (plus ILW if applicable)

  • Contract Type: Permanent

This role sits in our newly created integrated marketing and fundraising directorate. The vision for the combined directorate is to develop ambitious and audience-focused engagement strategies, which span the full portfolio of BRC's activities from fundraising to social enterprise, volunteering, and operations. We will work together towards a single set of shared goals that enable us to prioritise and maximise opportunities and deliver annual net income growth of £30m p.a. by 2030 and increase the impact of all our marketing.

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our Digital Engagement team. In this role, you will focus on creating seamless and engaging online experiences through innovative UX/UI design, prototyping, and user research. You’ll be instrumental in shaping user journeys, enhancing digital experiences, and supporting our growth goals across various digital engagement touchpoints.

What will a UX/UI Designer's job involve?

  • Lead the design of intuitive, user-centred experiences across digital engagement platforms.

  • Design clean, visually appealing interfaces that enhance usability and drive user engagement.

  • Ensure consistency in design across all digital touchpoints, aligning with brand guidelines and user needs.

  • Develop high-fidelity prototypes to test, validate, and refine design concepts.

  • Rapidly iterate on design solutions, using feedback and data to improve the user experience.

  • Ensure interfaces meet our accessibility requirements.

  • Create user personas and map out customer journeys to improve online interactions.

  • Conduct user research (qualitative & quantitative) to gather insights, inform design decisions, and optimise the user experience.

  • Analyse user behaviour data and feedback to continuously improve online journeys.

What will a UX/UI Designer need to be successful?

  • Highly skilled in Figma

  • A strong portfolio showcasing their projects

  • An understanding of design systems, and how to use them to ensure consistent design

  • Experience in UX/UI design

  • Experience using and maintaining design systems, ensuring consistent, scalable design across platforms

  • An understanding of user research methods and usability testing

  • Experience applying qualitative and quantitative research and data to guide decision making

  • Experience working with different teams, and managing different requirements

  • Experience prototyping

  • Experience working in agile teams
