Senior UX Designer contract opportunity
This is an urgent, eight-week contract opportunity.
Contract details
Initial engagement: Eight weeks
Working pattern: Hybrid, with on-site attendance two to three times a week. This is non-negotiable.
Start date: Before the end of October
What you will do
Manage design stakeholders and coach clients or team members in Design Thinking, Lean UX, Lean principles and human-centred design.
Design and facilitate workshops and design sprints.
Conduct user research and user testing.
Advise the Product Owner on backlog prioritisation.
Prototype at different levels of fidelity, from paper sketches to high-fidelity click-throughs.
Audit existing user experiences.
What we are looking for
In-depth knowledge of human-centred design and Design Thinking.
Experience working closely with Engineering, QA and Delivery disciplines.
Experience presenting design concepts to clients and running workshops.
Experience leading UX activities on a project.
Knowledge of industry-standard tools such as Sketch and Figma, plus the aptitude to learn and introduce new tools and methodologies.
Experience designing mobile-first responsive websites and native mobile apps.
Experience with user testing at different levels of fidelity, from guerrilla testing to lab testing.
Ability to work closely with a team and client as the sole UX Designer.
