Are you passionate about creating intuitive, user-focused digital experiences? We're looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our growing Digital team, helping to shape and enhance digital products that support business growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Working closely with Product Managers, Developers and key stakeholders across the business, you'll use research, insight and design thinking to create seamless digital journeys, transform complex processes into intuitive solutions, and champion user-centred design across our digital estate.
This is a fixed-term contract opportunity of up to 12 months.
What You Will Be Doing as a UX/UI Designer
Design engaging, user-friendly digital experiences across web-based platforms and products.
Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes and high-fidelity designs using Figma and other design tools.
Conduct and contribute to user research, usability testing and validation activities to inform design decisions.
Translate complex business requirements and legacy processes into simple, intuitive digital solutions.
Support and evolve design systems, component libraries and UI standards to ensure consistency across multiple brands and platforms.
Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and responsive-design best practices.
Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Developers, business stakeholders and external agencies throughout the design and development lifecycle.
Produce clear design documentation and support the successful handover, testing and implementation of new solutions.
Contribute to innovation initiatives and help drive continuous improvement across our digital products and services.
What We Are Looking For
Significant experience in UX/UI design, ideally within complex digital environments.
Strong proficiency in Figma, including wireframing, prototyping and interactive design.
Experience creating user flows, sitemaps, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.
Sound understanding of user-centred design principles, usability testing and user research methodologies.
Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
Ability to translate business requirements and customer insights into effective digital experiences.
Knowledge of accessibility standards, responsive design and digital best practices.
Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills.
Familiarity with front-end development principles, including HTML, CSS and component-based design, would be advantageous.
Experience working within regulated industries, financial services, fintech or similarly complex environments would be highly beneficial.
