Senior Product Designer (Mobile)

Asos

London

Your role

ASOS is embarking on an exciting digital transformation, evolving our Product team with a powerful new way of working that places our digital products at the heart of our business. We are seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to play a pivotal role in ensuring its success.

We currently receive over 2.5 billion visits per year, have more than 23 million active customers and attract over 50 million unique visitors per month. This creates a highly committed and exciting environment with opportunities to develop best-in-class digital products.

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll be an integral part of one of our many product development areas. We operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing product organisation, partnering with cross-functional teams to solve real customer problems through experimentation and data-driven decision-making while leveraging AI to shape how customers experience and shop for fashion online.

We're building an immersive, personalised, outfit-based shopping experience—one that makes discovery feel less like searching a traditional product grid and more like working with a personal stylist. We’re designing our app to be one of the most exciting destinations for discovering your next look while shaping our digital product organisation into a place where craft, speed and new ways of working enable us to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Join us and be part of ASOS’s digital revolution.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design of native mobile experiences, from discovery through to a shipped, measured and iterated product

  • Design and champion reusable patterns and components that scale across the mobile product, knowing when to use the design system and when to push it forward

  • Prototype early and often—in Figma, code or AI-assisted tools—to make ideas tangible for your team and stakeholders faster than a presentation could

  • Bring native platform craft, including deep fluency in iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design, pixel-perfect execution and an eye for motion and interaction details

  • Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, business partners and stakeholders, driving end-to-end delivery and being accountable for the performance and success of your initiatives

  • Conduct and apply quantitative and qualitative research to validate design choices and keep decisions customer-led

  • Use AI tools as part of your practice for exploration, prototyping and production, and help the wider team build that fluency

  • Champion the user and improve ASOS’s accessibility standards in everything you ship

  • Understand the technology, data and business logic underpinning the experiences you design, and design with those constraints rather than around them

  • Communicate design decisions, trade-offs and research findings clearly and early, using that clarity to influence stakeholders

  • Stay close to what’s next—including new AI capabilities, native platform updates and emerging interaction patterns—and bring that thinking into the work
