These terms govern your use of the UX Brighton website (uxbri.org) and attendance at UX Brighton events.
Website usage
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.
This website is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and up to date, but do not guarantee that all content is complete or error-free.
Event attendance
Tickets
- Tickets are sold through our ticketing provider, Tito. Purchases are subject to Tito’s terms of service in addition to these terms.
- Ticket prices are listed excluding VAT unless stated otherwise.
- Group discounts are available for bulk purchases as shown on the event page.
Refunds
- Refund requests should be made by contacting support@uxbri.org.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We aim to be fair and reasonable.
- If we cancel an event, all ticket holders will receive a full refund.
Event changes
- We reserve the right to change speakers, schedules, or venues. We will communicate changes as soon as possible.
- In the unlikely event of cancellation, we will refund ticket purchases in full.
Code of conduct
All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers are expected to behave respectfully. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. If you experience or witness unacceptable behaviour, please report it to an organiser immediately or email support@uxbri.org.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone whose behaviour is disruptive or in violation of this policy, without refund.
Photography and recording
- Events may be photographed or recorded for use on our website, social media, and promotional materials.
- If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform an organiser at the event.
- Speaker talks may be recorded and published on our YouTube channel and website.
Intellectual property
- Content on this website (text, images, videos) is owned by UX Brighton or used with permission.
- Speaker content (talks, slides) remains the intellectual property of the respective speakers.
- You may share links to our content. You may not reproduce substantial portions without permission.
Liability
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or attendance at our events, except where required by law.
- We are not responsible for the content of external websites we link to.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or attendance at events constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
