About the job

As a Product Designer (UX/UI) at E.ON Next Digital, you'll help shape thoughtful, inclusive, and beautifully simple app and web experiences used by millions of customers. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, with four roles available. The role follows a hybrid working model, with time in our London office, and reports to the Product Design Lead.

Working within a supportive, cross-functional product squad, you'll balance user needs, business goals, and technical realities to design accessible, high-quality digital products. This role is ideal for a midweight to senior designer who's ready to grow their confidence, influence, and craft, while contributing to a more sustainable energy future.

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing

  • Design intuitive UX/UI solutions for mobile apps and responsive web products across discovery and delivery.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers within an agile product squad.

  • Create user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.

  • Support and participate in discovery, ideation, and journey-mapping workshops.

  • Apply and contribute to the E.ON Next design system to ensure consistency, quality, and care.

  • Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and thoughtfully.

  • Present design work clearly and confidently to team members and stakeholders.

  • Ensure designs meet accessibility and usability standards while learning and growing through feedback.

  • Experience collaborating within cross-functional, agile teams.

  • Clear, confident communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Comfort receiving feedback, iterating on designs, and continuously developing your craft.
